Childhood and youth
The future actor was born in the Canadian city of St. John’s on October 8, 2001. Now the population of the capital of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador is 10% more than the year of Hynes White’s birth, the predominant religious group in St. Johns – Catholics.
Percy’s parents are creative people: his mother, Sherry White, is an actress, screenwriter and director, and his father, Joel Thomas Hynes, is an artist, writer, director, producer and musician.
As early as seven years old, the boy starred in the drama “Into the Mud” based on his parent’s work. Hynes White created the image of Keith Cavanagh at the age of six; the adult character was played by his father.
Crackie, directed by Percy’s mother, premiered at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in 2009, in which the offspring of the creative family played a cameo. In his youth Hynes White spent a couple of years in the drama school of his hometown.

In the middle of the second decade of the XXI century filmography of Percy actively enlarged roles in the series produced by Canada and the United States. These tapes include “Murdoch Investigations” and “11.22.63” – The film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Stephen King.
In the series “Gifted” over 29 episodes, Hynes White reincarnated as Andy Straker – a teenager who can force the mind to split objects into molecular states. The character’s sister, Lauren, was played by Natalie Elin Lind.
In parallel with “Gifted,” the young man starred in the feature-length sci-fi thriller “Supernatural,” where he embodied the on-screen image of Oscar.

Little is known about Percy’s personal life. Although the actor, whose height is 188 cm, has an account in “Instagram“, in most published photos, appearing even picking his nose, even sitting in pajamas on the toilet, he is in the image.
The Canadian’s page has pictures of half-naked girls lying in bed, but the beauties’ faces are covered and Percy doesn’t reveal their names.

The highlight of Hynes White’s acting biography in 2022 was the release on Netflix of the first season of the series “Wednesday” half of which was directed by Tim Burton.
The title character, Wensday Addams, daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams, was played by Latina actress Jenna Ortega. Hollywood stars Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman were transformed into the girl’s parents, while Percy got the role of the silent artist Xavier Thorpe. The series became incredibly popular, and they announced the filming of Season 2.
In the wake of the huge success of the series in January 2023, there were headlines in the media about Percy being accused of sexual misconduct. Several girls described parties where there were allegedly a lot of alcoholic beverages procured for the purpose of getting the female members of the weaker sex drunk. One female user on Twitter wrote that it was in this state that White abused her. In her own words, rape charges were filed against the actor. No names were given.
